Knead 1 x 5ml tsp gum tragacanth into 6oz sugarpaste.
1. Cut out a plaque

2. Cut a sponge into small pieces
3. Mix together Trex or similar white vegetable fat and dust
colour (darker colours show more clearly)

4. Spread thinly onto a piece of sponge

5. Dab the sponge along the embosser taking care to cover evenly

6. Place onto the plaque whilst the icing is still soft

7. Press lightly and evenly across the embosser
8. Remove the embosser. Leave the plaque to dry before placing
onto the cake.

The embossing can be done directly onto the cake.

IDEAS
- A variety of colour can be dabbed onto the one cutter.
- Mix a dark gold dust with fat for a golden wedding
- Mix white satin and black dust colours with fat to make
silver
